What should I wear?

We provide aprons, but we recommend that you wear casual and comfortable, paint-friendly clothes and shoes. We will be using an acrylic paint that is NOT washable.

Question 2

Where is the Studio located and what about parking?

The art studio is based in my home in Gainesville, GA you will get the exact address after booking a party.  Or feel free to reach out directly and I can share it with you. 
Please park either in driveway or along the street.

Question 3

Restrooms and Accomadation

We do have a restroom for public to use. 
You will be standing during your party but if you need a chair please let me know and I will have one available for you.

Question 4

Are food and drinks allowed at the studio?

Accepted Answer

You are absolutely able to bring in snacks and drinks for your Private Party.  Please let me know in advance so that I can have a clean space designated.  Keep food and drinks to a minimum you will have 1.25 hours for your event and we will need the majority of that for your technique.  If this is a special occasion and you think you will need more time please let me know and we can make arrangements.

Question 5

Do you offer refunds?

Due to the custom nature of our Parties, registration fees are non-refundable. Registration cancellations made at least 72 hours in advance of a party will be given a credit for a future party.

Question 6

Does handmade mean perfect?

Accepted Answer

Handmade does not equal perfect.  Since your creation is handcrafted, there may be natural variations and blemishes that are not flaws, but are characteristics that make it a truly unique piece.

Question 7

What about pictures?

By signing up for any of our classes, you are authorizing us to take and publish any pictures taken during your time in any of our classes. If you do not authorize this, please let us know ahead of the class.

Question 8

Can I record or photograph the technique?

We put a lot of work into creating our techniques.  We do not allow you to video the artist or technique during instructions.  We absolutely welcome you to take as many pictures of your piece of art and the rest of your party. Feel free to tag us on your social media 😀

Question 9

Is there a minimum age requirement?

Accepted Answer

There is no minimum age requirement.  If you book a private party you get to decide the ages welcome.  10 and older are able to easily do any of our techniques.  If you have children under this age feel free to reach out for technique recommendations.    Most of our "Open Hosted" parties are for all ages.  If not you will see a "21 and older" note in the registration information.

Question 10

What's resin?

You will have the option to add Resin.  "Make it Shiny"  Resin is a two part epoxy that we will do for you after your art is fully dry.  This process takes 2-3 weeks.  Please note that resin will start to yellow as it ages.  Keeping your art away from sun exposure and fluorescent lights will help slow the process.  This will show up mostly on art with white paint.
